For 22 years, Inside Business has sought to highlight influential female business leaders in the Hampton Roads region. The Women in Business Achievement Awards are designed to celebrate women who have been successful in their business and careers, have made a significant impact on the business community and local economy, and have served as mentors and examples to others.

Nominees must have a Hampton Roads presence – the aim of this award is to recognize local businesswomen for their local impact.

The deadline for nominations is October 1, 2025.

A panel of judges will review the nominations to select the honorees, who will be profiled in a special issue of Inside Business. The women will also be recognized at a celebratory event in December.

This is a one-time honor. Past honorees are not eligible to receive the honor again.

Inside Business has honored Women in Business in Hampton Roads for 22 years. By honoring these women, we seek to encourage them and other women to trust their abilities, strengthen their self-confidence and become thought leaders and trailblazers in our region.

In addition to an in-person award celebration, a special themed-edition featuring the winners will be distributed to all subscribers of Inside Business and published online at InsideBiz.com.
